Should i have my M24 collector threaded for a suppressor?

I have an M-24 collector edition. I was an Army sniper so this rifle has some sentimental value to me. However i hardly shoot it because i mostly shoot suppressed. Im thinking of having it threaded and have a blind thread protector made to make it look original. Take me into or out of doing this. Thanks

Since the only "issued" part of the collector edition is the stock.... I say thread the one that is on there now or have a new threaded barrel put on and set the original in the box.

I don't know the history of it but for sentimental value sake, leave it alone.

Doesn't the M24 have iron sights on the end of barrel?

Get another barrel fit up for it with muzzle threads and keep the original barrel as is.
