When should i replace the recoil spring on my sig 229 ?
How will i know when its time ?
Where to buy spring and are they all the same for the p229 9mm sig?

Will it cause any issues when the spring starts to wear out ?

How do you guys like the sig p229

They are cheap and replacing every 1000 rnds is a good habit.

The 229 is a great pistol. You should be easily able to shoot beyond 5000 rounds with no worries.I know a few people that have never replaced their's and their guns are 20 yrs old(226s) or better and they easily shoot thousands of rounds a year with them. I personally wouldnt do it to early because sigs really start to shine after they hit a thousand rounds or so. JMO
