Is there any advantage to bumping the shoulder back .003-.005 for an AR platform? Should I try to set up the FL sizer for a "bump" or just follow the RCBS instructions?

I tried to bump back the shoulder but could not get the die down to bump before it bottomed out on the shellholder. Has the case not expanded enough?

I'm using RCBS SB dies on a RockChunker.

Thanks much,
CT

.003 to .005" is kind of much. If you want to load for your chamber you may need to get a set of Redding Comp. Shellholders. But I would keep it to .002" or less.
