What’s the best advice for applying pressure in the shoulder pocket with the rifle stock, considering I’m pulling the rifle into the shoulder with the same approximate weight that the rifle weighs AND loading the bipod?

Can you load the bipod forward with the same pressure normally applied rearward and negate pulling the stock into the shoulder?

The loading of the bipod is done with your body/core. And it’s very slight. Just takes slack out of bipod.

The “weight of the rifle” pull reference exists because people always ask.

Start there and use more and less pressure to find what works for you for different rifles and positions.
