I've ordered a total of 4 manners stocks and the first 3 were absolutely perfect upon arrival. However, a short while back I had ordered a Manners EH1A stock to be inlet for the new long action Bighorn/Zermatt Origin. When everything arrived for the build I found out that the recess in the stock for the bolt handle was not quite right for the Origin's tactical handle. I was tempted to sand it out myself but it looked like a large area that would need re-finishing so I emailed manners with pics of the issue late in the evening. The next morning I had a response with a UPS shipping label to return the stock and the barreled action to them so that they could fix the bolt handle inlet and re-finish the stock to factory standards. I compactly packed stock & barreled action well protected in strong cardboard box and shipped it off to them. I received it back today and was impressed. The stock looks perfect. The inlet perfectly sized to the bolt handle - not too much clearance, not too little. The finish is perfectly blended. And, to top if off, they returned it in a hard sided rifle case with foam cut to fit the rifle and the bolt separately. Talk about impressive service!
I know this may not be news to many but it bears repeating - If you're looking for a stock, have confidence in ordering from Manners. They were responsive, helpful in resolving and even with COVID-19 they had great turnaround time on this fix.
