Before I ask I want to say that I know this question has been asked before. Just looking to update some photo's of paint jobs.
looking to see if any one has painted their sticks recently. Im looking for some ideas. Im a "Krylon" guy and am open to try a few things to get the look i'm going for.

not all of these are Kylon but it works the same. The top two are sponge camo and the rest are just camo or coatings.

That looks amazing mate, mind if I ask how you did it? base coat and then splotching with a sponge perhaps?

Very effective.

yep, you got it right. base coat of coyote brown and the sponged on kylon ultra flat OD green and ultra flat coyote brown.

So, how do you do it. I've been looking at it and can't seem to figure how it would be done with a stencil.

It gives you the basic shape then you need to do the shading.

That sponge pattern is fantastic- I have my Mini-14 wrapped in form wrap but it doesn't cover everything, collects dust/dirt, and makes cleaning more of a chore. Pic saved so I can reverse engineer the process!
