Interesting to see you suffer from the same issues I encounter with opposing flutes. Any insight on why they don't cut to the same depth?

BF, Your example is what I came up with when I first started doing spirals. I intend to (one day) tilt the head to cut a true octagon instead of the concave result. Your fast twist makes the concave fly tho' ;-)

Anybody know about how much weight 6 straight 1/4" flutes will remove from a 26" bbl?
