So for the most part, im pretty much oblivious to anything 1911... most of what ive owned in the past for these type of guns has been TRP Operators, Colt Delta Elites etc which came standard pretty decent, and if work was needed, most people scared me out of trying it myself since it wasnt an AR or striker fire pistol.

That being said, this gun is "pretty good" out of the box to where im mostly satisfied, but I want to do a few things do it and figured id see if anyone on here has played with them.

First off, threaded barrel. Sig sells it for $268, and a few on gunbroker are $239... Now on Sigs website, it says the Target model has a "match barrel"... does this mean by purchasing a factory Sig threaded barrel that im downgrading, or are they the same thing and just using fancy marketing words to promote the Target model? Calling the monkeys at Sig usually only ends up with me in a bad mood, or a shattered cell phone, so id rather not call them for anything I dont have to (see other post by me when I asked Sig why Federal GMM 175s were blowing out primers in my Sig 716, and the answer was just "well you should probably just not shoot that ammo anymore").

Second, It came with 8 round mags that hang out the bottom, and I prefer the more flush look of a mag well... are there any that are more bolt on than others? I dont mind a bit of finishing work, but its a beautiful stainless gun already, and I dont feel like destroying it to hack in a mag well. (sometimes I dont give myself credit where deserved... im quite handy with tools, fiberglass/metal work and much more, I would just prefer not to spend a ton of time and have to get these refinished to look perfect)

lastly, I guess the factory pull is just under 5 lbs... I prefer the 3-4 lb range, does a "drop in" trigger exist? or does pretty much everything need to be "fitted"?

If youve had one of these, please let me know how it worked for you. While im perfectly capable of taking on another project, im just not interested and with these, it typically adds no value unless it has a higher end gunsmith name attached to it.
