Gunsmithing Sig 551 semi auto rebarrel

I know very little about semi autos but a guy asked me about a new barrel for one. I dont seem to be able to locate one too easily so Im wondering since it is a screw in type action/barrel arrangement, would it be as simple a process as just getting a decent blank and doing a rebarrel or are there other things to consider such as ports etc.

Looking at the picture, it's a fairly complicated profile. Lookes like you would be better to purchase than make.
