Sidearms & Scatterguns Sig P220 European .45 ACP

Re: Sig P220 European

I had one. My first pistol I bought about 20 years ago. Mine was in 9mm. It was thin, a straight stack magazine.
The usual Sig quality and function. Haven't seen one in a while.

Re: Sig P220 European

Not sure. Might want to post it on a Sig forum.

Re: Sig P220 European

OP, what exactly are you wanting to know?

There is indeed a .45 version with the Euro heel release.

Re: Sig P220 European

My first pistol was an old InterArms marked P220 in 45 ACP.

Great gun (typical Sig: accurate and reliable), but I didn't like the heel magazine release so I sold it.

I'd buy another one for nostalgia, but I can honestly say I'd never shoot it.

Re: Sig P220 European

I have an 89. It doesn't have the heel release, but it does have the smoothest action I've ever seen.

Re: Sig P220 European

What are you wanting to know? I have a W. German 1985 all original with box, target etc 95%+. Are you just looking for info or what?
