Hey all, just looking for help on what a firearm can go for if I put it up for sale. I have a Sig P228 stamped in West Germany and has all 3 serials, barrel, slide and receiver. It also has the KD stamp which I think from research is the year 1993. I was told it was fired a few times at the range by my friend who owned it prior (this means a couple times went to the range, not how much ammo went through it, she was not an avid shooter and only had it for home defense). I do not have original box, but I do have both mags and gun is in great condition. Any thoughts or direction to go would help. New ones in USA go for around $1100, so I figured per research one in West germany would be worth a collector price.

I have a circa 1985 P226 with k coat that is pristine and not going for a lot... yet.

But frankly, I will not sell it either. Have an Elite Scorpion that is not nearly as good a shooter as that old W. German pew-pew.

Almost 40 years old and can still put all 15 rounds in a one inch circle at 7 yards.

Guess I'll hold on to it until it fetches a few more dollars. Was hoping to sell enough to almost offset a new rifle.
That p226 sounds sweet! Have pics?
And yes this is still an amazing shooter also!
