Sig Sauer P226 Classic 22

Re: Sig Sauer P226 Classic 22

I have a P-220-.22.Reliable in limited shooting thus far, and certainly adequate for 8" plates@25yd in my hands.

It's the single stack .45 frame with a .22 kit.
It's cheaper to get the .22 and add the $350 .45 "Two Step" kit than to buy a .45 and add a .22 kit.

It's quality goods, and there's already a little aftermarket support in the form of high capacity followers and maybe last shot hold open.

Threaded barrels are available from Sig, but @$200, you'd rather get a gun with that option already installed, if available.

I have the 220-22 also and it is an excellent shooter. I bought the 45 kit to go with it so bacisally I have 2 guns. The 45 shoots great also. Both shoot alot better than I can.
