I mounted the Sightron in the Barrett rings per instructions and mounted on my Tac 30 243 on a Stiller 20 taper base,,zeroed at 100 yards it is 6 clix from the bottom and the Sightron has 72MOA adjustments from the 100 yard zero with the 20 moa base plus the 15 moa taper in the rings,,,,I wont ever need the extra 25 minutes on this rifle as it drops to 1250 fps at 1400 yards and only needs 40 MOA`s to get that far but I still thought I would switch the rings to the 40 MOA taper and see if they work.

after careful zero at 100 yards I switched the rings from 15 to 40 moa and shot 3 more shots on the same target and made a bughole 26 inches high with no shift at all left or right,,by my figures that would put me about 2 minutes high at 1,000 yards

they are probably overkill for a 243 but if a man had a rifle capable of getting out far enough that your scope wont get high enough and you need more elevation these rings really work ,,
