Since the ax 338 is now in production is the aw 338 still being produced? Saw a post approx a year ago from tom Irwin that sounds like yes but had plans to phase them out without any date listed.

Hi There,
I am not sure where you got your answer "straight from the source" but we are not taking any new orders for AW338 rifles unless they come from a military customer who already has our AW338 and insist on buying extra units or replacements. We continue to support AW338 with spare parts and accessories.
Also, we are not in the last build as you describe it.
FYI, the AX338 is a significant improvement to the AW338.

Scott Seigmund was the source. He simply stated that you were currently building the last run of aw338 for commercial sale.
