Rifle Scopes simple question on Burris extreme tactical rings

to they have a square cross bolt or a round one
definitely want square must know before ordering

Just ran upstairs and looked at the few sets I have. The answer...neither round or square. They are round with a flat cut in to them to contact your base. The rings must be mounted with the nut on the left side for it to work. If you need a pic I may be able to snap one.

Good point. I've used a couple pair and have never paid attention to the direction of the flat. I guess I just got lucky.
