Cant find specs- max recoil (caliber), tube specs?
All other info appreciated as well!

Sorry, don't have tag photo on phone. But besides NSN and type, tag has stamped serial "01-95". that's all info tag has.

Don't know, and can't confirm from manufacturer (no replies), but unit should be Omni III or Omni IV?
Someone thought it might be from year 2000, so should be Omni IV AG then- BMG proof?

Unit is also bigger model with adjustable boresigth, so has to be 203FAB then?

Should be omni iv. Given that repair would be hard to undertake, I would stick to the 308 class of rounds.why have a very expensive paperweight when a rock works just as well and is free?

Simrad can handle recoil. You can go way above 308.

While this is true, you aren't ever going to get anyone other than Simrad or their distributor to change out a tube, it uses a special tube with some interesting fiber optic bonding to get better performance.

Depending on the specific unit and actual production date it could be anything, they even put gen2 tubes in them, though generally they used very high spec tubes for the era if it is an american assembled unit. 95 would put it in the omniIII range, but there were also OmniIII+ and Omni enhanced tubes back then as well that very high specs. My best guess is you won't too far off looking at the omni IV 10160 specs.
