Anyone using a Sinclair tactical bipod ? Off the bench ? I recently fell upon a technique with this bipod off the bench which is accurate as all hell . The cartridge helps of course (6BR). Been shooting 5 shot groups in 2s and 3s. With a couple 4s in there if I don’t pay attention . Just wondering if anybody else has experience with this bipod ?

Thx

Mark

I tried one. It works great for shooting if you load it a bit. Doesn't feel any more stable than any other bipod I've used.

I stuck with the Harris because the Sinclair seems to snag on everything.

It really doesn't matter though, just use what works for you.

What’s your technique?

Pretty simple really ! I load it and then totally relax . It pretty much stays loaded . But I also make sure Its pointed directly at target with no muscle. It does help that it’s a 6BR . Not much recoil . Very light trigger also . No gripping rifle or pulling into shoulder . Very similar to free recoil because there is enough play in bipod for it to come straight back with no jumping .

I recently got one of these bipods. Will be testing it for the first time tomorrow on a 6CM in a Manners stock. This is meant for some LR shooting and hunting this winter, so looking forward to doing a lot of testing on best techniques.

Let me know how u make out ! I’ll be shooting mine tomorrow off bench at 500 yards to get ready for next Sunday’s match . I’ll post some pics of my targets .

Shot today at 300 yards , bipod off bench . Even though I was working up a load , all 6 groups avg. 1.1 inch . I’ll take it !

Found a load that might work. Forgot my Labradar, so I have no idea on velocity. Only shot at 100 yards today (5 shot groups)
