I am building a hunting rifle (280ai) and debating whether or not to put a brake on it. If I do, I would like a lighter one and the ASR looks light, but I haven't found the weight or any other information on it.
I'm considering this one because I have an Omega and if I decide to put a brake on it, then I can shoot suppressed more easily as well.
Has anyone tried one of Silencerco's single port ASRs? what does it weigh? does it reduce recoil okay with just one port? Is it louder or quieter (not looking for a scientific test, just your opinion) than the traditional 3 port ASR?
