Rifle Scopes Single Ring Scope Mounting

I'm picking up a USO SN-4 here shortly and I noticed in USO's product catalog that they feature their single point ring to mount the scope to the rifle. The only draw back I see to their mount is that it is not quick disconnect. That got me thinking, has anyone ever used an Aimpoint mount to mount a compact rifle scope to a rifle. Can anyone add some pro/cons/insight to this idea?
