Anyone have any experience with them for a Remington 700? I had a Dual Set on a Steyr SSG and a Single Set on a beat-up CZ, obviously the Steyr quality was far better but I liked the idea/concept of the Single Set Trigger on the CZ.

What are your thoughts? And available manufacturers.

Thanks

Re: Single Set or Dual Set Triggers

I've a lot of experience with single and double set triggers. There are a couple of versions available for the Rem 700.

But to be honest I'd stay well away from them. and I mean any of them, on any rifle, They wear quickly, they are difficult to keep in adjustment, are succeptible to dirt and bad weather.

Ive a box in the back corner of the workshop that is full with set triggers that ive replaced with normal triggers over the years. There must be 600 triggers in there from dozens of manufacturers, all worn, all unsafe, all scrap.

You are on the right track, having the same type of trigger on all your rifles, but I'd advise you to swap the SSG for a non set trigger, and go with non set triggers on the rest too.
