Called in this adult male in for my six year old and he did a great job at dumping his first coyote at 137yds with a 6ackley... He was practicing earlier in the day and ringing steel out to 500.. Little shit can run a gun.. Enjoy..

But are you sure your son is not a natural born shooter?
I've been working with a 6yr old over here, he's pulled off some amazing shots, but none in a hunting environment. Following a moving target with the gun, we're a ways out on that one.

I'm glad I don't live in SD because soemthing tells me there will soon be a shortage of available targets. Congrats to the little man on his first yote and congrats and thanks to you for getting him out there. My 5 year old ia always after me to take him out yote whacking. I have taken him out several times and now that he is almost 6 he is getting better at keeping still and quiet.

Thanks guys,, I think I was more fired up than he was,,,, and his middle name is "shooter",, which is starting to fit him when he's not on a horse...
Also, his yote had mange which is a bummer or it would have went on the wall,, that piece of ackley brass will be saved though..
Pic of him running an AR which fits him,,, guess its time to build another rifle with a short stock,, maybe a 10 twist 6dasher or brx...

That is great, My son started shooting P-dogs when he was 5, first deer at 9 from 363 yards. He is 21 now and we have had the best times shooting together, keep it up and you make great memories.
