I have been reloading for about 4 months now and mostly reload for .223/5.56, .300 win mag, 45 ACP, 50AE. I had just started to reload for the 6.5 Grendel and had ordered new brass from Alexander Arms (100pcs). Nice brass, No dents or anything. Anyhow, I sized them out of the box just so I know all is good and what was odd to me is i measured them out of the box and then measured them after I full length sized them. It straighted the necks and everything out but there was absolutly no gain in length. Which is good i guess so i dont have to trim but I thought nomatter what when you FL sized the brass is going to grow at least a little. Every single other piece of brass i ever FL sized grew at least some. Whats the deal here?

Agree. At least most virgin brass should be very close to spec. For that reason, I only resize it if I want to "iron out" any dents in the mouth. With that, I only neck size it. Takes less time. You know, I 'd rather shoot than prep cases.
