Hello all!

I have acquired two second hand Skeet IR units that were in unknown condition. I am unfamiliar with these units but have be able to get them to power on briefly, which is where I'm encountering my problem. Both units briefly power on with lines and static on the screen before powering off approximately 2 seconds later. I haven't been able to remedy this in any way and I'm assuming both units are probably fried.

Before I get rid of both units, can anyone advise if I'm doing anything wrong or possibly have some fixes for this issue?
