Gunsmithing Skin bed aics 1.5?

i have used the search function and have not found the answer to my question. is it necessary to skim bed an aics?

necessary...no, it's designed to work without it. That being said, some people do skim them. Shoot it first. If it meets your standard, great. If not, skim it.

with that being said skimming should make the rifle more accurate, correct?
