I'm looking for a 'smith who can sleeve a Tokarev TT-33 pistol barrel. (And if it works, I have two more.) Mine slugs at .315 and I would like to be able to use regular 85-86-grain .308 bullets.
There are ads for a couple businesses in Shotgun News, but they're using .308 liners with a 1-10 twist, which is pretty fast for the bullet weight. I have a scrap .30 M1 Carbine barrel with a more reasonable 1-16 twist that I thought might be used to make a liner.
I realize this would be an expensive job and that it might be the equivalent of tilting at windmills.
Thank you for any suggestions.
Richard
