Sorry for the stupid question but who makes the sliding action? It is basically a bolt action but you don't have to lift the bolt handle to operate it. I use to know but I can't remember for the life of me. Thanks

Browning, Blaser, Steyr, Merkel, and many Swiss surplus rifles have straight-pull actions. I'm sure there are more, but these are the ones that come to mind.
