I use a leather HK sling and it's kind of kludgy. I may break out the needle and thread and come up with something. So let's stay in touch.
Looked at some biathlon slings, etc. But nothing has jumped out. It's a hard rifle to sling.
Mostly I carry mine in a drag bag or a snowboard bag (great ski-resort camouflage.) Every time I fold the stock, the HK sling gets fubar'd.

presently i am using a galil sling that ties in to the sling brackets.hardly suitable but a metal clamp would tear the hell out of the paint and then the metal on the bracket.i just picked up a like new folding stock for 1200.00 but it is first gen. hill 300. were you able to buy the stock alone? hill 300
