Not too long ago I took a carbine class where instructors had the rear of the 2-point sling attached to the off-side of the buttstock. They explained that it allowed you to shoot off the support side shoulder without having to unsling. I tried it and I'm sold.
My question - I'm about to install some flush cups on my precision rifle and am wondering if this idea applies as well to a larger precision gun.
