Gunsmithing Sling stud in a hollow stock..??

Any ideas?

new Choate Stock and dont like the Side sling studs, want to mount on underneath but the stock is hollow.

Any ideas or suggestions?

APA sells the best stud insert around IMO for your application. If you have any reservation about doing the optimal install, pick Jered's brain for the particulars or just send it to him and get the work done with total assurance it was done to perfection.

Ive added a second stud on a couple tupperware remington stocks. Mix up JB put it in barrel channel,let set up, drill and tap. I also run a steel rod thru forearm with a large box of JB. Adds a couple pounds but stiffens them up.
