Ok so me and head2h2o went and shot today... I reloaded some hornady brass and some winchester supreme brass with 180gr SMKs. So the hornady brass had 42.5 gr of H4895 and the winchester brass had 42.8gr. The hornady posted average 2507fps, while the winchester posted average 2486fps. Take in mind the winchester brass was a hotter load.So the only thing we could think of was that the hornady was a slightly smaller cartrigde, which created a little more power. What do you guys think?

Re: Slower cartridge question.

If all things are equal except brass, one can sumize that Hornadee is thicker and the same charge will create more pressure, which means more speed.
