Does anyone have experience with one? The only reason I'm considering it is because on a 5.5" V-Seven barrel, most other adjustable gas blocks have the forward facing bit, and interferes with muzzle device. Don't know of any other kind like it where you swap out different fixed screws for gas (100%, 80%, 50%).

The SLR webpage says it uses a "straight" gas tube... can you get a straight gas tube for your short barrel ?

Most likely it need a straight gas tube because of it OAL GB height.

It looks like Rifle speed sells straight gas tubes.

Yes, the V7 barrel came with a high block and straight tube. I'm going to suppress it, and don't want an adjustable bcg. V7 tube is inconel, rather than SLR's melonite. Has a FRT in it, gonna get hot!

Have you considered a adj. gas key ?

I would look at the pros and cons of the Adj. Gas key.. and see if it might be suitable for your needs.
