I've got an aiae 6.5 creed and have been using hornady brass with no issues. I can run 140 at 2800 without pierced primers. Some guys had ae that exhibited pierced primers at relatively low velocity, 2700, mine look good at 2800. Would trying small primer brass be asking for trouble, since small primers sometimes need bushed bolts in 700 that aren't known for pierced primers on normal loads?
