hi all,

I'm looking for an inexpensive press for decapping spent primers/bullet pulling only and I've narrowed it down to two.

one being the lee reloader 'c' frame which for me can be had for around $60

http://www.leeprecision.com/html/catalog/rlpress1.html (middle of page)

the other being the smartreloader SBP 'c' frame which I can get for just under $50

http://www.smartreloader-usa.com/sbpreloadingpress.html

my main concern is how the press deals with spent primers, I know lee have a hollow in the base to collect the trash but I have no idea how the SBP deals with spent primers.

anyone got any insight? I've googled extensively but can't get an answer.

any ideas on which way to go?

From what I can tell, I would go with the Lee Challenger press, if you can pony up a few more dollars. I have that same press and I have reloaded about 1000rds so far and no problems. The Smart press looks like it might bend back on you. I'm fairly new to the reloading world but have some experience. Hope this helps.

Thanks, but I have a RCBS RockChucker Supreme for my main press, I get good results using it. I am looking mainly for a small press for just decapping prior to cleaning, because the RCS tends to drop primers alot and occasionally collet pull some old ammunition/mass f&%^ ups.
