Plenty of summer left to build these with the kids/ nieces/ nephews and have some fun.

I wonder how long a 12" x 12" sonotube full would last....

I am sure there is some math for the 12”

You probably would need -
3-6 of the fuse holes to prevent too much pressure
Or
A much larger smoke exit hole- same thing you want smoke not a rocket... should the pressure get too high, the plaster will crack or get blown out. Then it will burn with no smoke


If I recall correctly there was an airsoft place selling smoke buckets- you needed some disclosure paperwork to buy one as they were 5,000,000 cubic feet and the size of a 5 gallon bucket


Not sure where you could set of 5 million cubic feet of smoke and not create chaos.......
