Before people tell me to do a search for this I did, and none of the results cover my questions. I currently use the Smooth-Kote & BP2000 on my barrels, but I have read that you can also use these to replace oil on your slides, actions, bolts and even trigger parts so that you have a dry lubricant in dusty environments, so I wanted to see if anyone uses these products for any or all of the above applications? I like the idea of not only a dry lube, but possibly smoother operation, but before I try it and ruin my guns I wanted to see if this is true? If it is true, can anyone provide some info/opinions from your use of these on your semi-autos,pistols, bolts/actions, etc. I like what I get from using it in the barrel & would like to use it on everything else if possible.

I've used theSentry Solutions product line quite a bit, and it does operate as advertised. It certainly can offer advantages, but you have to be sure to ONLY USE THOSE LUBES. The biggest mess in the world is a smooth coat treated AR, that someone squirts CLP into the action......ask me how I know
