2010 BRRC TEAM CHALLENGE III
Date; Saturday, September 25th
Time; Sign in, 7:00 am
Location; Burbank Rifle and Revolver Club, Castaic Range
Cost; $40 per team
Equipment; rifle with sling, extra magazines, pistol with holster and extra magazines, shooting mat, spotting scope, food, plenty of cool water, NO LASER RANGEFINDERS, the rifle you start the match with is the rifle you will finish with.
This is a two man team event; course of fire is as follows;
Buddy shot, 100 yards;
Each team member will fire three shots while his rifle is supported by his team mate, after firing the team members will trade places and fire three more rounds. No sighter shots will be allowed, time limit 10 Minutes
Dot Drill, 100 yards;
The team will fire ten shots each on 20 individual ½ MOA dots from the prone position, unlimited sighter shots, time limit 10 minutes
Field course C;
The team will negotiate a natural terrain course engaging rifle and pistol targets at unknown distances out to approximately 800 yards, Ammunition requirements 12 rifle, 12 pistol, time limit 15 minutes
Movers 600 yards;
Each team member will fire 20 rounds upon a moving target in four minutes, the non firing team member may spot for or assist in any way so long as it its safe, after the expiration of time the team members will trade places and another four minute firing period will begin.
