So I finally snagged... about six months ago now, wow time flies... a Winchester featherweight classic in 6.5x55, nib, as the foundation of a build. The idea was to mate this with a Viper PST.
So what do you guys think is the first step here? Grab a stock? The barrel is supposed to be free floating, but it's not... stick with the stock and fix that or go in another direction?
