Maybe he just likes seeing the Swamprats twist and contort themselves. These Docs are not the end game they are only the beginning. I'll trust Trump and wait for the end game.
Somebody more cynical could perhaps think that maybe some of our "allies" in foreign governments were a bit anxious to have their part in the deep state plots to subvert justice, politics and law here kept quiet and might be offering, that if they were to perhaps not be named, maybe they could find "common ground" on other more public issues?....

I’ve been patient for decades. Lol. As I get older I have less of it, that is true. You guys could be right on the foreign entity request for anonymity, or it could be a genius move on Trumps part from the get go to take attention off of the Kavanaugh ordeal. Think about it. All of a sudden we have a 35 year old case of rape come up and all media is eyes on that then to divert that media attention Trump screams squirrel by saying he is going to release Russia documents. Instantly Less attention of Kavanaugh. Then I a few days when that attention subsided he screams I’m postponing the document release. All of a sudden attention is focused on that again. Pure genius really.

Actually, the only rape is the rape against justice. Rape in its strict sense requires some type of penetration against your consent. Today, many use rape and sexual assault interchangeably though they are not.
