Selling a lightly used CZ 557 Varmint chambered in .308. I purchased this rifle new last year for my dad and we have since put 241 rounds through it. Only reason for selling is because he’s looking for something lighter recoiling with a suppressor. Rifle weighs 11lbs. as shown.
The walnut stock is very similar to the MTR. Has vertical grip, 10-round DBM, varmint barrel (1:10, .875” at the muzzle). Shoots 178 ELDs around 1/2 and 168gr FGMM around 3/4. We skim bedded the recoil lug just to remove any play between the stock and action, but the V-block did a pretty good job by itself.
The following add-ons are included with the rifle:
- Muzzle threaded 5/8x24 and re-crowned
- Area 419 CZ bolt knob
- EGW 20MOA pic scope rail
- Pic rail section installed on fore end
- SKD PIG Stock Pack
- SAP 2-round holder
Options:
- Ken Farrell Low 30mm scope rings (+$75)
- Area 419 Hellfire muzzle brake (+$125)
I also have 241 pieces of Federal .308 brass and a set of Lee dies that will go with the rifle unless the buyer does not want them.

I am asking $900 shipped to your FFL for the rifle as pictured. This price includes scope rings, muzzle brake, brass, and dies.
Deduct $50 from either listed price if you don’t want the dies or brass. Optional items will not be sold until the rifle sells, so please do not ask.
Trades will be considered. Feel free to send what you have. Off the top of my head, I am looking for 700 footprint stocks or chassis. Something like an ACC, Manners, etc. but will listen to pretty much anything cool.
