Have a lilja .17hmr barrel for a sako quad for sale. It is .900 straight contour, 23", unthreaded.
About 1700 rounds though it, always kept clean. Easily shoots minute of squirrel head which is what I use it for, but also makes nice little tiny cloverleaf groups on paper with Hornady 17gr Vmax.
In the interest of full disclosure, the reason I'm selling this barrel is because it does not fully stabilize non lead 15.5gr NTX ammo down here near sea level where I live; while the bullets don't keyhole, it can only manage 2-3" groups at 50 yards with the 15.5gr NTX when the DA is under about 2000'. Unfortunately for me being in California I have to use non lead ammo for varmint hunting now, so I can't use this barrel for squirrels in the local area because I can't hit a damn thing with the lead free ammo. However, when I go shoot/hunt up at 4000-5000' elevation this same barrel makes nice little cloverleaf groups with the 15.5gr NTX.
I just received a custom 7 twist .17hmr barrel from lilja to shoot and stabilize the 15.5gr NTX at sea level, so I don't need this 9 twist anymore.
No marks or dings on it.
