The tape is on the stock to capture the stock tension screws. I will add that I lost one on this hunt, and that the other one is captured in there. I'll post better/more photos when I get home tonight.
The tape is duct tape, but I wrapped the stock with sports tape (so it wouldn't stick to the stock) first.

Lost Internet at the house got pictures taken but I can’t get them transferred to my phone so it’ll have to be next week but I’ll repost it with better pictures
