Guys, up for grabs, used Tangent Theta 525 with Gen 3 XR Reticle, glass in perfect shape, everything works as expected (it’s a Tangent after all!) turret clicks sound perfect and it even comes with an aftermarket throw lever and everything that came with it in the box (ARD, Tenebraex caps, documentation and box itself).

As expected with any pre-owned scope, some wear marks are present (pictures below), but they are just cosmetic… again, fit and function is right on point!!! I got this scope as a partial trade from another forum member but I’m now going a different route with my build… my loss is your gain!

This scope is priced to sell right away, 3700 bucks (via PayPal FF or +3.5%) shipped and insured to your door (conus).

NOTE: I won’t be able to ship from Monday Aug 9 thru Wednesday Aug 11, if purchased outside of that window it will ship the same day (granted that payment will need to come in before 4PM Central time).

Let me know if you have any questions.

How deep are the marks on the scope tube from what appears to be screws?
You are correct, those are rub marks from screws. They are nothing more than rub marks that peeled the paint off a bit, but the aluminum underneath the paint is not damaged, deformed, bent or anything like that… this can easily be covered with a sharpie and off you go. I’m adding a couple of pictures below, hope they provide a better idea.

It was actually not the mount but user error… see below. Spuhr mounts have holes on the sides you can use to attach accessories such as dope cards and the like… using screws that are a hair too long can cause those rub marks, as is the case here… I’m adding a picture below of that scope in a Spuhr mount I have, you can (barely) see how the rub marks perfectly line up with the holes in the Spuhr.

For anyone that doesn't know, Spuhr has a gauge located on the leveling triangle to check the depth of the screws prior to installing them. I really don't like that spuhr doesn't include screws of the proper length. For what they cost the correct screws should be included to attach their accessories and prevent scope damage.
