This was a backup match rifle that just doesn't get used enough. It is the original barrel to this action, all work done by area 419.

The deviant fits in any 700 stock correct? I have an MDT ACC and know they sell a defiance chassis. Just wondering if it will work

I sent a message to mdt to verify but I'm almost positive it will fit. The defiance option on the mdt website is for the defiance xm length action which is an intermediate length and not standard 700 pattern. I will let you know as soon as they reply.

It's bartlein's marksman profile which is very similar to a medium palma, 26" barrel. It shoots factory hornady 108's very well. When I had area 419 chamber the barrel that's what I told them i planned to shoot.

Your approaching the price of just the Action here guys! You can re-barrel a Defiance 4-5 times! No worries! Extended tenon, no worries on most any chassis...running a PRS Manners, yes it can be done....ONLY reason to go something else is if you want the “next new pretty”...3/10 of top PRS guys run 6CM, some even run factory ammo! just what this is set up for! Spend some time on technique, not whats the rage...this will serve u well till your in the top 100! By then you’ll be gettn sponser offers! N equip sponsors will banging at your door!
