For Sale/Trade: I have an awesome piece of US military history; the famous Remington Rand 1911A1 from 1945. Slide and frame are matching and the pistol is in great condition for a surplus piece that started serving back in 1945. Has the "FJA" inspection mark on the frame which is typical on the rand 1911 pistols. Mechanically the pistol is in excellent shape, the finish has some minor pitting as well as a spot at the end of the slide (pictured) but that is to be expected for a piece of this age and service pedigree. I purchased the pistol privately within the last year and am only selling as I also acquired a second surplus 1911 and unfortunately need to sell one to finance my next larue long range build; really wish I could keep it though as these are getting harder to find. Included with the pistol is a brand new wilson combat recoil spring and firing pin spring that I recently purchased (currently installed). I will also include the originals that came with the gun when I bought it.
Sale price is $1550 with payment via discreet paypal friends and family or venmo. Will split the shipping cost from my FFL to yours with the buyer as long as it is to the lower 48. Could also do a FTF sale (all local laws followed) in the triangle area of NC.
Trade/Partial Trade Interests: Larue Ultimate Upper Kit in 308 or complete larue AR-10 build based around ultimate upper in 308, Will also consider Larue Ultimate upper kit/full rifle build in 6.5 grendel or 5.56 though my preference is for AR-10 in 308. Will also consider quality AR-15 rifle or upper in 6ARC.
Might consider partial trades for certain used good condition optics: Interested in FFP mil/mil optics (Leupold, Vortex, Nightforce SHV, Trijicon) that would be suitable for the DMR style AR-15 that I am looking to build, also potentially interested in a good condition SWFA 6X fixed power mil/mil.
