I did have a scope mounted in it briefly but never actually used the mount.
I did coat this Magpul FDE (brownells alumahyde). It is not perfect but turned out pretty good in my opinion.
This can be removed easily with brake cleaner or any other acetone paint remover. (Also happy to do this for you if you prefer it without the alumahyde)
I did tape off the inside of the rings as to not interfere with mounting.
Includes box, leveling screw, and torx bits.
