I agree 100%... HP and their support sucks and this was a fitting end to an HP product.

I have to say - the first HP's I bought for my business were absolute workhorses - 6-7 years out of a HP4100. Not so much with the newer models. Now, I'm leaning more towards Canon - over the phone customer service is very good (and free), and the warranty (you take it to a local shop) is good for 3 years.
