Anybody using one of these ? Any good ?

I use a moderator approx 1 3/4 inch diameter, will that fit?

Planning on using it up the hill stalking red in the usual wind and rain. Seems like it could be a lightweight fast system allowing me better control of the rifle with my TAB biathlon sling.

I have two and have never used it in the rain or snow, but use it in the dry dusty western USA to transport my guns They work well, but as they are open on the bottom, how dry it will keep your weapon is up for debate. They are lightweight, durable and fast on and off.

I can easily slide my sxs 12 ga shotguns into the muzzle area and my 1.6 inch diameter silencers fits into the muzzle end

I just ordered the Armadillo rifle cover from Sentry Products Group www.sentryltp.com. Another option to look at. Retail price around $49.99. The Solo looks good and cheaper.

Mainly use it on the firing line to keep blast debris off my gun when Im not behind it as well as a sort of shade from the sun.

Its on the expensive end of the spectrum but its built well and comes in true operator colors. I noticed that after I bought mine when taking selfies my facial features would blur themselves out to hide my identity. I like it.

I use one for hunting, It is a good set up, I use it for the hike in or in bad conditions. Worth the money IMO.

Thanks. I like the TAB system but its $130 and not sure about the clips for up the hill. I will give a Solohntr a go, its not huge $
