I am looking at this set-up. NF 3.5-15X50, NF 20 MOA base, Burris XTR med rings all going on top of a Remington 700 LTR. Any forseeable problems here?

Thanks

I don't see a problem. Although i used Badger ordnance rings on my rifle. Got burris on my .243. I wouldn't think you would have a problem with the rings but don't take my word for it. If it were me i would get badger ordnance. See what everyone else has to say. As far as the scope and base you can go ahead and order that they're both quality products.

I went with medium and like them. They're perfect for me. I'm sure you could use lows but the only minor complaint i have with med, is my USO SN-3 dial for magnification is bigger than the 30mm tube and when trying to bolt a 700 with a 90 degree bolt lift, i can't wrap my entire finger around the bolt because it scrapes the magnification adjustment. But that will be fixed with a tactical knob and bolt handle extension. I'm sure you'll be fine with Low.

If you ran badger std height you would clear but you wouldn't be able to use your bikini cover without trimming the bottom. Mediums would clear just enough to use the bikini cover, if that matters at all. Both will clear BC caps.
