    ...when evil everywhere abounds.

    Your happy thought / poem for the day:

    I'd rather see a sermon than hear one any day;
    I'd rather one should walk with me than merely tell the way.
    The eye's a better pupil and more willing than the ear,
    Fine counsel is confusing, but example's always clear;
    And the best of all the preachers are the men who live their creeds,
    For to see good put in action is what everybody needs.

    I soon can learn to do it if you'll let me see it done;
    I can watch your hands in action, but your tongue too fast may run.
    And the lecture you deliver may be very wise and true,
    But I'd rather get my lessons by observing what you do;
    For I might misunderstand you and the high advise you give,
    But there's no misunderstanding how you act and how you live.

    When I see a deed of kindness, I am eager to be kind.
    When a weaker brother stumbles and a strong man stays behind
    Just to see if he can help him, then the wish grows strong in me
    To become as big and thoughtful as I know that friend to be.
    And all travelers can witness that the best of guides today
    Is not the one who tells them, but the one who shows the way.

    One good man teaches many, men believe what they behold;
    One deed of kindness noticed is worth forty that are told.
    Who stands with men of honor learns to hold his honor dear,
    For right living speaks a language which to every one is clear.
    Though an able speaker charms me with his eloquence, I say,
    I'd rather see a sermon than to hear one, any day.

    Cities are occupied, businesses are being looted and burning, mobs of anarchist madmen roam at will; and we get poetry.

    Thrilling!

    Just..., thrilling...

    It ain't sentimental thoughts that will get us out of this.

    Non sequitur, brother.

    "A harmless man is not a good man. He is just harmless, like a rabbit in the wilderness. A good man is a dangerous man who has full control over his mindset and capabilities"...

    Just to clarify... riots in cities have zero to do with the original post. ;)

    I know this falls on mostly deaf ears here, but "Be the change you want to see in others."

    oh do please tell us what you're doing about it...

    that poem IS about action, not words. But I just can't wait to follow your example in these trying times...

    Can bet if this shit comes to Gregs house no liberals will be left to recite poetry from them.

    Undoubtedly he will protect his own to the last full magazine.

    Fact is a bitch.

    Try instead of poetry, try loading all mags full (less 1 round) and get ready for the civil war that has allready started you oaf.

    It's not a game.

    You mean we cannot defeat the Marxist Revolution with hugs, kisses, kind thoughts, poetry and unicorn farts?

    I guess it’s back to loading mags then!

    Pretty sure Unicorn Farts are lethal.

    Well, the leftists just realized that all their kneeling and kissing shoes did not pacify BLM... Instead, they are openly declaring "death to USA and Israel" and wants to start their own "black ethnostate" in Texas, where no whites or Jews will be allowed... That escalated quickly didn't it?

    I contend it’s been their goal from the start.
    They just didn’t have the balls to say so in the beginning.
    Now with the full support of all the white guilt leftists, media, half the state governments, and half the federal government - they are feeling more secure in voicing their true agenda.

    I hope they don’t mind so terribly much if the rest of us resist in some form or fashion.

    Can’t we give them the Progressive State of Kalifornia for their own Ethnostate? I believe Newsom would volunteer that in a heartbeat.

    mate, your forum toughness is legendary. I'm both cowed and inspired.

    I somehow doubt, that any of us who use our weapons, would be leaving them unfired should defense of home and hearth be needed. But whatever... let's load mags (less 1 round) and scowl...

    Brother if you wrote that, color me impressed...
    Plenty of truth to be had in those stanzas.(if I’m remembering my education better than where I put my keys half the time)

    Hmm,... "good" thoughts seem so relative. Who knows what "good" thoughts go through some peoples heads? Not sure I want to know either...probably some scary shit...

    I do appreciate/acknowledge deeds of kindness, however. So, all good?

    I want to make clear a couple of things.
    I'm not a badass, nor an operator of any kind. I'm not going to win many fist fites or foot races.

    That being said I have had some training in the service of my country.
    I will stand my ground and uphold the Constitution of the United Sates of America as best I can.

    The disgust and contempt I hold for the people ruining America can hardly be put into words and most of it should not be put in print.

    I know right from wrong and belive a lot of people need to be taught that.

    We have laws and order in most of America and I support that.

    If it continues to break down I will be thier huckleberry because I can .

    Aw, Shit; now I have to attend another one of them frakkin sensitivity classes...

    I love it when the Newbs start lecturing us about how wrong we are, pushing their Alinsky's Rules crap.

    Deflect much?

    What I'm doing about it is ignoring you both.

    Because I can.

    The rest of us can do the same if we wish. Please feel free to ignore me, too; if my commentary is soooo offensive that you have to offer taunts.
