Sorry for newbie question, but I just noticed this red glare earlier today, sun wasn’t directly over me it was kind of behind some trees. Inside the scope I saw some red splash too. Is it just the coating of the lens and angle of light causing this? Thanks.

That is a reflection off of the lens coating and yes it's normal

Nice scope by the way
Thanks man,

So what’s the best way to eliminate it if comes up while hunting or at a match?

Wear a hat. Will cover some of the sun. It’s really not noticeable in use, especially at matches.

I just happened to be outside today dry firing from different positions and noticed it. Thank you guys.
